Yogi the Bear Gets Hungry in Pagosa Springs, CO

This Pagosa Springs, CO home was broken in to and ravaged by a large hungry black bear.

SERVPRO of Archuleta, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan Counties was called to perform the clean up after the bear was trapped by the Colorado Division of Wildlife.  You can see in the "before" photo that the bears keen sense of smell took him directly to the refrigerator and he seemingly pulled out every item in it.  After snacking in the kitchen, the bear lounged around the rest of the home destroying contents in the bathroom, living room and one bedroom.  The cleanup was fairly standard but the SERVPRO team did have to use specialty odor removal chemicals to take care of the musky bear odor and to clean up the bear scat throughout the house.
